Edible art

29/11/2013 Studio Valeria. Istra with a group of artists organized an exhibition of latest glass, painting and art made from edible materials including a map of Medulin. The exhibition was seen by up to a 100 visitors who polished most of the edible art.

10 years of Studio Valeria

Studio Valeria 25th October celebrated 10 years of successful functioning under the Istra’s leadership. During that time Istra organised many workshops in glass art, painting, and workshops in creative-psychological development; a number of community projects; major international projects; and many exhibitions. She celebrated with her family, friends and many local supporters.

Creative loosening workshops

October 2013. Studio Valeria in Medulin, Croatia. Istra is the organiser and the leader of a 4 part creative loosening workshop using sound, language, drawing  in exploring self perception about the place we call our HOME. These workshops are based on psychology, perception and creativity.

Northlands Creative Glass 2013

September 2013, at Lybster, Caithness in Scotland have spent 2 weeks at the Northlands Creative Glass conference followed by the most stimulating master class in glass with Eeva Kasper from Estonia, Robyn from Canada and 8 glass artist friends from Canada, Scotland and England. My work was inspired by my desire to change and transform, sense of the place and history. My images show translated statement into early Rune script.
